Friday curry

Mutter paneer, tarka dhal and a pint of cobra. Much appreciated Friday Night pleasures! Along with the lovely company of the year 5 Mums. A great end to the week!

The day had been full of small pleasures; home made biscuits at a workshop,  a cup of tea made for me, kind words from friends.

A beautiful sunny afternoon; a walk home through the park; unexpected meetings with friends.  Children playing happily in the newly mown grass.

When we finally got home from school, I cooked tea, and was surprised that I had had no requests for telly or entertainment.  I crept upstairs to find the two girls in our room, reading Calvin and Hobbes. They were there for an hour,  peaceful and together!


They often leave us a little memento of their stay in our room, today it was a dog!
